Dean Clough New Home Of Chadwick Lawrence Halifax
Chadwick Lawrence, have announced the relocation of their Halifax office to the Dean Clough Mill which will take place in Autumn of 2018.
The current office for the solicitors firm is located in Rawson Street in the centre of Halifax in the renovated Georgian mansion, Somerset House. The offices and its staff members based here will be moving to a newly renovated ground floor office space located at the top of the main street in the Dean Clough site, Known as ‘The Old Fire Station’.
Chadwick Lawrence have had a presence in Halifax for over 30 years, opening its first office at 23a Bull Close Lane before taking over the whole building where they remained until moving to their current premises in 2010.
As well as providing legal advice to thousands of clients across the Calderdale region, Chadwick Lawrence has also provided pro bono support to many local organisations including Community Foundation for Calderdale, Square Chapel Centre for the Arts, Halifax Minster, Voluntary Action Calderdale Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band, Northern Broadsides, Halifax RLFC and many more.
The firm is about to invest significantly in a state of the art IT system and Steven Bonfield, who will continue as the supervising partner at Dean Clough explained that the move was part of the firm’s long-term strategy to improve efficiency and the client experience.
“Communication is the key”, he said. “We have over 200 employees located in three offices and four branches throughout West Yorkshire. Our aim is to ensure that whichever of our seven offices clients choose, to access any of the disciplines we offer, they will enjoy levels of service and expert advice which are consistently excellent.”
The team will continue to operate out of the Somerset House office until Autumn, and will confirm a moving date with all clients and contacts shortly.
