Claimant awarded £4,500 for accident in a bar
The Claimant aged 21, at the time of his accident, was out with a few friends. He went to the men’s toilets, whilst at a bar, to use the mirror but found it was covered in condensation. He therefore went to wipe it off with his hand. Unfortunately the mirror had previously been broken and the Claimant cut his hand on the broken edge of the mirror.
The Claimant sustained a deep laceration which required stitching and consequently he was left with a permanent red scar on the palm of his hand.
The Defendant admitted liability after the initial investigations and after a medical report the first offer put forward by the Defendant’s was accepted. Client damages settled in the sum of £4,600.00.
