Finance Assistant – Wakefield

What are we looking for?

An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant to support the Finance team at our Wakefield office. The successful candidate will assist with production of the monthly Management Accounts, the reconciliation of the firms Balance Sheet, maintaining the Firms accounts (Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Cash Book, Cash Flow Forecast etc.) and any other spreadsheets, reports or tasks as required.

Applicants must demonstrate the capability to work both individually and as part of a team, being able to prioritise their workload and provide support to the wider finance team when needed. Applicants must also demonstrate their ability to build and maintain positive and effective working relationships with key stakeholders in the business and importantly have the flexibility to adapt to the ever-changing demands of a busy and demanding Department.

Experience of legal practice management systems, Solicitors Accounts Rules and an understanding of account processes and procedures are desirable.
