About the role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Corporate lawyer or Paralegal to work within our growing Corporate team, primarily based at our Leeds Office but with scope to work partly from home if this is desirable.
Ideally suitable for someone with 1-4 years of experience of Corporate work, although consideration will be given to applicants who otherwise demonstrate the skills and experience we are looking for.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and ambitious individual who wants to develop their technical and commercial skills further through working on a wide range of quality instructions. Your caseload will include assisting on all areas of business law, in particular transactional corporate work, but also complex group re-organisations, shareholder agreements and general corporate advisory.
Applicants should possess the following skills and experience:
- 1-4 years’ experience working in corporate law within a law firm or in house
- strong IT skills
- a high degree of initiative and the ability to manage your time and your workload effectively
- excellent communication skills and a desire to use these to promote the team and the firm both internally and externally
- a willingness to learn, to drive your own career progression and to be proactive in achieving this
