That’s why we’re delighted to welcome highly respected regulatory solicitor Simon Catterall to our growing Regulatory and Crime team, further strengthening our presence across the North East.
Based at our Darlington office, Simon brings decades of experience representing businesses, individuals and rural clients facing investigations and prosecutions by public authorities across Northern England.
Simon has built an outstanding reputation throughout the North East for his work in regulatory and criminal defence. He is particularly well known within the agricultural sector, having served as an NFU panel solicitor for the North of England for more than 25 years.
During that time, he has advised farmers and rural businesses on matters including animal welfare, livestock transport, rights of way disputes and environmental pollution cases. Simon is also a former President of the Tees Valley Law Society, reflecting the high regard in which he is held across the legal profession.
Working alongside colleagues across our Regulatory, Crime and Dispute Resolution teams, Simon will play an important role in supporting clients across the North East while continuing to strengthen our specialist regulatory offering.
