Strengthening our Wills and Probate Team with two new appointments
At Chadwick Lawrence, we are committed to delivering exceptional legal services with a strong focus on client care. As part of our continued growth, we are delighted to welcome two highly experienced solicitors, Helena Wong and Tom Grice, to our wills and probate team.
Welcoming Helena Wong
Helena joins us as a solicitor specialising in probate matters, including both taxable and non-taxable estates, as well as wills and lasting powers of attorney.
She brings a valuable blend of international and UK experience. After completing her law degree at The University of Hong Kong, in 2019 before relocating to the UK, where she qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2023 via the SQE route.
Helena has gained significant experience working with high-net-worth individuals and complex, cross-jurisdictional estates. Her work has included handling estates valued between £1 million and £5 million, preparing lasting powers of attorney, and supporting clients with complex wills and trust structures. She is known for her calm, thoughtful, and client-focused approach.
Helena was particularly drawn to our firm because of our accessible approach to legal services, diverse client base, and strong workplace culture. She is based in our Leeds office.
Welcoming Tom Grice
We are also pleased to welcome Tom Grice, who brings over a decade of experience in private client work.
Tom specialises in wills, probate, estate administration, lasting powers of attorney, and estate planning. After completing his law degree at The University of Brandford and the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School, he qualified as a solicitor in 2016.
Throughout his career Tom has worked across several firms in Yorkshire, building extensive experience in private client services. He has also held senior positions, including managing residential conveyancing teams and serving as partner and head of private client at his previous firm.
Tom’s decision to join us reflects his passion for delivering high-quality, tailored legal advice, with a strong emphasis on understanding and meeting individual client needs. He is based in our Wakefield office.
