Alfie Lane

Alfie is a Recoveries Executive within the Litigation Department at our Leeds office. His role is primarily focused on debt recovery matters, while also incorporating aspects of commercial litigation. This allows him to work across a diverse range of cases and gain experience in different areas of dispute resolution.

Alfie studied BA Geography and Planning at the University of Sheffield before deciding to pursue a career in law and enrolling on an MA in Law. Having successfully completed his master’s degree, he is due to graduate in early 2027 with a predicted Merit.

During the final year of his studies, Alfie undertook work experience with Chadwick Lawrence, spending time in each department across the firm. This provided valuable insight into a variety of legal practice areas and reinforced his ambition to build a career within the legal sector.

Following his placement, Alfie applied for a role within the Commercial Litigation team and was delighted to be offered a position as a Recoveries Executive. He particularly enjoys the varied nature of the work and the opportunity to support clients across a range of litigation and recovery matters.
