Grace is an expert Court of Protection practitioner and is an accredited member of both the Lifetime Lawyers and Professional Deputies Forum.
Grace specialises in assisting clients and their families to navigate the difficult journey following a brain injury diagnosis. She acts as a professional property and affairs deputy as well as providing advisory services to family members who have been appointed in this role.
Grace and her team regularly assist families who have been impacted by a dementia diagnosis with reviewing capacity, obtaining deputyship orders and making lasting powers of attorney. Grace acts as professional attorney for clients who have lost capacity to makes decisions about their finances and/or health and welfare.
Grace also works closely with local dementia support charities and organisations such as Calderdale Dementia Friendly Community and Memory Lane, and her team has supported Chadwick Lawrence on their journey to becoming a dementia friendly firm.
