Leanne is a Partner and heads up the Corporate and Commercial Contracts team at Chadwick Lawrence. Her work covers all aspects of corporate and commercial law, with a particular focus on business acquisitions and sales, commercial contracts and corporate compliance.
Leanne works with a diverse client base, ranging from owner-managed businesses and SMEs through to large organisations. She supports clients at all stages of their business journey, from day-to-day commercial and contractual matters through to significant corporate transactions. Her experience includes the acquisition and disposal of businesses and companies, drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, and supporting businesses with their ongoing corporate and governance requirements.
Leanne’s approach is practical and commercially focused. She takes the time to understand how her clients’ businesses operate and what they are looking to achieve, allowing her to provide clear and pragmatic advice that reflects both their legal requirements and wider commercial objectives. She particularly enjoys building long-term relationships with clients and becoming a trusted adviser to their businesses.
Leanne studied Law at Lincoln University, graduating in 2009. She qualified as a solicitor in 2014 and became a Partner at Chadwick Lawrence in 2023.
