Chadwick Lawrence Reflects on a Fantastic Housing 2026
Members of the Chadwick Lawrence Social Housing team had the pleasure of exhibiting at Housing 2026 at Manchester Central, joining thousands of professionals from across the social housing sector for what proved to be an inspiring and highly successful event.
Housing 2026 once again demonstrated why it remains one of the most important events in the social housing calendar, bringing together organisations and individuals who are committed to shaping the future of the sector and improving outcomes for communities across the UK.
Over the course of the event, our team had the opportunity to make many new connections while also catching up with valued clients, colleagues and friends from across the industry. It was a pleasure to spend time with organisations and individuals including Horton Housing, the Housing Got Soul team, The Social Housing Academy and Professor Sir Patrick Vernon OBE, alongside many others who continue to make a significant and positive contribution to the sector.
One of the standout aspects of Housing 2026 was the conference programme itself. The sessions covered a broad range of important topics, including the future of social housing, resident engagement, leadership, tackling inequality, placemaking and delivering meaningful social value. The quality of discussion throughout the event highlighted both the challenges facing the sector and the remarkable level of innovation, dedication and expertise that exists within it.
Events such as Housing serve as an important reminder of the incredible people who work within social housing. It is always a privilege to spend time among professionals who are not only highly skilled and dedicated, but also passionate about making a genuine difference to people’s lives. The collective commitment to improving homes, communities and opportunities is what makes the sector so unique and rewarding to be part of.
