Chadwick Lawrence supports Aspire’s annual tag rugby event
Chadwick Lawrence was pleased to continue its longstanding support for Aspire Community Benefit Society at its annual tag rugby event at Headingley Stadium.
Now in its sixth year, the event brought together people supported by Aspire, volunteers and teams from across the community for a day centred around inclusive sport, teamwork and having fun.
The event, which took place on Wednesday 7th of October, brought together 60+ participants from across Leeds. Our team was out in force, volunteering throughout the day and getting involved alongside the Leeds Rhinos Foundation to help make the event a success.
Aspire Community Benefit Society provides care and support for people with learning disabilities, including supported living, respite and day services. The annual tag rugby event gives those supported by Aspire the opportunity to get active, meet others and enjoy a day of sport in an inclusive and welcoming environment.
The event is part of a longstanding relationship between Chadwick Lawrence, Aspire and the Leeds Rhinos Foundation, with the firm continuing to support the event year after year.
Chadwick Lawrence Partner Sam Pawson, who also serves as Chair of Aspire, commented:
“It’s always a pleasure to be involved in this event and see the enjoyment it brings to everyone taking part. Sport has a fantastic ability to bring people together, and this event is a great example of how important inclusive opportunities are within our communities. We’re incredibly proud to continue supporting Aspire and the Leeds Rhinos Foundation in making the day possible.”
It was fantastic to see everyone getting involved and enjoying the day, and we’re proud to have played our part once again.
A big thank you to Aspire Community Benefit Society and the Leeds Rhinos Foundation for organising another brilliant event, and to everyone who took part and volunteered on the day.
