CHADWICK LAWRENCE SUPPORT WAKEFIELD CENTRE FOR CREATIVITY

Chadwick Lawrence Solicitors are showing their support for the newly opened Wakefield Centre for Creativity at the Theatre Royal in Wakefield.

The Centre for Creativity is a newly constructed performing arts facility designed to add to the cultural heartbeat of Wakefield City Centre, and the wider area of West Yorkshire. The new centre will attract talented new artists and enable the very best in performing arts education in an easily accessible area of the County.

The performing arts space is part of a major extension to the Theatre Royal, with direct public access from Westgate into the Theatre’s foyer and enhanced hospitality facilities to help transform the audience’s journey through the Theatre.

The team from Chadwick Lawrence recently attended the grand opening of the new Centre for Creativity, and have contributed towards supporting the Theatre through the ‘Buy a Star’ campaign.

The new Centre for Creativity features a striking Wall of Fame, including some of the biggest names in Theatre Royal Wakefield’s history, and allowing businesses to show their support alongside some of the great stars that have graced the stage in recent years.

“We have acted as long term supporters of the Theatre and its community trust, and we are passionate about demonstrating our commitment to Wakefield and the wider thriving community in the city” commented Sam Pawson, “The Theatre is a thriving performing arts space and lets people of all ages engage with drama, music, dance and comedy. We are proud to be a supporter of this important community space.”

Katie Town, Theatre Royal Wakefield Executive Director, says, “over the last decade Theatre Royal Wakefield and Chadwick Lawrence Solicitors have developed a very fruitful partnership. As a registered charity, the Theatre relies on the generous support from our corporate sponsors, trusts and individuals. This support enables us to continue to make great theatre which is accessible to all in our community.”
