As part of the launch of re-branded HR service, Box HR – a flexible, external HR solution – the employment team at Chadwick Lawrence delivered a seminar on Informal Resolution to a packed Wakefield office on the 5th December. Managing Partner Neil Wilson led delegates through the benefits of adopting an alternative approach to formal management of issues, and the benefits that this could bring to working relationships and the business.

Attendees of the event took part in a lively discussion that explored scenarios which could lend themselves to informal discussions: responses were varied and ranged from personal hygiene, to co-workers indulging in blue cheese in the workplace! One attendee commented that the talk was “very interesting and informative” and went on to thanks the team for their “hospitality and professionalism.”

The seminar gave attendees the opportunity to pose questions to the employment team, and to gain a deeper understanding of how Box HR and it’s extended offering could make a genuine difference within their business.

Neil commented: “Having delivered seminars for a number of years, we are always considering what will give the greatest value to the business community. Selecting a topic which focuses on skills and workplace relationships rather than pure legal content was very well received and will shape the content of future seminars. We will be setting up a 2019 programme shortly which will, as always, be very relaxed in nature and free to attend for all”.
