Chadwick Lawrence’s Annual Bake-Off Returns for Dementia Action Week
It’s that time of year again at Chadwick Lawrence – spatulas at the ready and aprons on – as we kick off our much-loved Annual Bake Off in celebration of Dementia Action Week!
Across our offices, colleagues are rising to the challenge, competing for the coveted title of Best Baker 2025. From showstopping sponge cakes to creative confections, the Bake Off is a brilliant opportunity to bring our teams together in support of a vital cause.
In past years, the standard has been exceptional – taste, presentation, and originality all go under the spotlight as friendly competition heats up in our kitchens. 2025 is already shaping up to be our most impressive year yet!
Baking for a cause
Once the winners have been crowned and the last crumbs judged, all of the baked goods will be included in a charity bake sale, raising much-needed funds for the Alzheimer’s Society. Every slice sold goes towards supporting the Society’s ongoing work with individuals and families affected by dementia.
Whether it’s funding research, offering direct support, or raising awareness, the Alzheimer’s Society continues to make a real difference in the lives of those navigating this challenging condition – and we’re proud to play our part.
Led by our Dementia committee
Our Bake Off is expertly organised each year by our dedicated Dementia Committee, who work tirelessly across the firm to plan events, raise awareness, and drive fundraising efforts. Their passion and commitment are at the heart of everything we do during Dementia Action Week and beyond.
At Chadwick Lawrence, we are proud to support local charities and community initiatives—not just through donations, but through active, hands-on involvement. From volunteering at events to running information campaigns, our colleagues give their time generously throughout the year.
