Chadwick Lawrence sponsors Jacqui’s Million event: Positively Musicals Charity Cabaret

Chadwick Lawrence is proud to be sponsoring another Jacqui’s Million event. Her “Positively Musicals” cabaret show on 27^th November at Kings Hall in Ilkley in support of her goal to raise £1 million for Leeds Cancer Centre.

We have been supporting Jacqui’s Million for several years and could not have asked to sponsor a more valuable cause. Jacqui is a truly individual character, inspiring our firm daily with her positivity and commitment to giving back to Leeds Cancer Centre which has supported her through her own diagnosis and treatment.

Leeds Cancer Centre is a local NHS Teaching Hospital that delivers treatment, care, and support to people suffering from, or having recovered from cancer as well as their loved ones. They deliver high quality specialist and integrated cancer care to patients in Leeds and Yorkshire.

Jacqui Drake was successfully cured of cancer in 1993 after having been diagnosed with Melanoma in her leg. But 17 years later, the cancer returned. She has been receiving treatment since 2010 at Leeds Cancer Centre for her stage 4 malignant Melanoma. And she continues to live her life to its fullest, refusing to let this diagnosis stop her from making the world a better place.

At Chadwick Lawrence we are all inspired by her energy and drive and are incredibly proud to support her Positively Musicals cabaret and her goal of raising £1 million.

Jacqui has won several awards for her amazing efforts including the Kate Granger Award for Outstanding Contribution at the Yorkshire Choice Awards 2022 and the community award at the Yorkshire Women Volunteer Awards.

At the time of writing, Jacqui’s Million has raised £330,960.

Positively Musicals – a charity cabaret, will run two performances on Sunday 27^th November, 1pm and 5pm at King’s Hall and Winter Garden, Ilkley. For more information on the event, click here.
