Chadwick Lawrence Official Legal Partner of Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band
Chadwick Lawrence are proud to announce that they are the official legal partner of the Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band.
The band were established in the 1880s but shot to fame in 1977 when their version of “The Floral Dance” reached number 2 in the charts. Following an invitation from Chris Evans, the band have this year featured at both Carfest North and South alongside such acts as the Stereophonics and the Kaiser Chiefs in support of Children in Need. They are also performing this year for Children in Need at the Royal Albert Hall, and feature on Gareth Malone OBE’s new Christmas album “A Very British Christmas” where the band perform “Paradise Street” with Ricky Wilson of the Kaiser Chiefs as the vocalist.
Nick Worsnop, partner at Chadwick Lawrence, who was responsible for establishing the relationship with the band, said “The Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band are a Yorkshire institution. They do a great deal for Children in Need, which is a cause we very much support, and help to promote Yorkshire both nationally and around the world. As Yorkshire’s legal people we are proud to be the band’s official legal partner and to provide support with legal issues, as well as helping the band to promote themselves with our own partner organisations across Yorkshire.”
Chairman of the band, Steven March, said “Brighouse & Rastrick has a proud history and we are delighted Chadwick Lawrence are going to be a part of it. They have already supported the band tremendously and we look forward to them being a big part of the next chapter of Brighouse & Rastrick Band’s proud story.”
