Chadwick Lawrence Shortlisted For Yorkshire Legal Awards 2018
Yorkshire’s Legal People are thrilled to announce that they have been shortlisted for four awards at this year’s Yorkshire Legal Awards.
The firm has been shortlisted for Law Firm of the Year (Medium) in recognition of their growth and impact in regional, national and international markets. This shortlisting identifies the performance of the firm as a whole and the innovative measures contributing to its success, following an incredibly successful financial year with a £1.9 million profit in the 12 month period ending March 18.
In addition to this nomination, the Sports Law team have been shortlisted for Regulatory and Compliance Award. The team acted in one of the most high-profile anti-doping cases in Super League and continue to be retained advising a Premier League football club. Finally, the Medical Negligence team have been shortlisted for the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Award, reflecting the results achieved in a number of extremely complex, high-value matters which have enhanced the reputation of a very specialist set of lawyers.
Neil Wilson, Managing Partner of the firm, has also been nominated for Managing Partner of the Year. This shortlisting acknowledges his excellent contribution to the practice’s success as well as his leadership and strong management skills over the past 12 months.
The Yorkshire Legal Awards will take place on 11th October at New Dock Hall in Leeds and are organised by publishers of Leeds & Yorkshire Lawyer Magazine, Barker Brooks Communications. The region’s legal community will celebrate a fantastic year of achievements across a range of firms and departments.
