Chadwick Lawrence Sponsors Tangent National President’s Ball

Our team at Chadwick Lawrence has sponsored the Tangent National President’s Ball to celebrate our support and friendship of Tangent and Heather Parry, the National President.

The National Association of Tangent Clubs is a women’s organisation in the UK, with around 10,000 members aged 18-45. They offer a varied programme of events and activities, designed to help women connect with one another through friendship and empowerment. Tangent’s President, Heather Parry has been a member of Tangent since 2007, having started as a member of Ladies Circle since 1986. 

The National President’s Ball is a ball to raise money for the President’s chosen charity, which this year was Re-engage. Re-engage provides social connections for older people at a time when their social circles are diminishing. Re-engage is a smaller charity which aligns well with Heather Parry’s theme of ‘Continuous Friendship’ within the Tangent clubs. 

The event took place at Cedar Court Hotel in Bradford on 11 February 2023. We had a table of 10 with various colleagues attending, enjoying the sparkling wine reception, dinner and live band. 

Thank you Tangent for hosting such a fantastic event, for such a great cause, which raised £3750 for Re-engage.
