Chadwick Lawrence Invests in Leaders of the Future

As a forward-thinking firm, Chadwick Lawrence places a huge amount of importance on the development of its younger employees and continues to invest in the leaders of the future. This focus on learning and development has recently seen the firm partner with young professional’s network, Junior Chamber International (JCI).

As part of Chadwick Lawrence’s strategic partnership with JCI, colleagues will have the opportunity to take part in a number of training courses to aid their personal and professional development.

Trainee Legal Executive Georgina Freeman, who has been a member of JCI for the past two years, has recently completed the Junior Chamber International’s European Academy in Gothenburg, Sweden. Georgina completed the 4 day course at the end of July where she was joined by over 70 other promising, young professionals from across Europe coming from a wide range of worldwide organizations including Microsoft.

The European Academy is an annual program organised by JCI and is now in its 19^th year. It provides young professionals with a crash course in leadership, personal development, team work and organizational structure as well as giving young professionals the chance to network with their peers.

Georgina was extremely positive about the four days she spent in Sweden and even described the European academy as one of the best experiences of her life, “During the four days I learnt a lot about myself and how I work as an individual as well as how best to work as a team. I now feel I have developed key skills to improve my work at Chadwick Lawrence, including time management and other important skills. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and something I would recommend to all.”
