Corporate team act for A.W Lumb in acquisition by Lords Group

Chadwick Lawrence’s Corporate team has recently acted for A.W Lumb independent builders merchants in relation to Lumb’s acquisition by Lords Group for in excess of £23m. Chadwick’s corporate team was led by Sarah Hemmings, Bradley Adams and Steven Bonfield with input from specialist solicitors in the Firm’s Employment and Commercial Property departments.

Lumb is a leading independent builders merchants with a stronghold in the North and Midlands geographic markets. The acquisition supports Lords strategy of gaining market share through geographic expansion and product range extension and recognises Lumb’s highly regarded product supply and service in the marketplace.

Lumb is a long-standing client of the Firm and their management team was represented by the Corporate department in a Management Buy Out in 2017.
