Nominations are now open for the Business for Calderdale Awards 2023

If you know a business or a person that should be nominated for a Business for Calderdale Award, the vote is now open.

 

Business for Calderdale Awards 2023 will take place on Wednesday 11^th October 2023 at The Venue, Barkisland, to celebrate the achievements of businesses in the borough over the last year.

The categories include:

•         New Business of the Year
•         SME of the Year
•         Manufacturer of the Year
•         Employer of the Year
•         Entrepreneur of the Year
•         International Trade/Export
•         Excellence in Customer Service
•         Business of the Year
•         Lifetime Achievement

 

As a result of the previous year’s successful launch of the awards, Business for Calderdale are looking forward to receiving entries in the various categories. You can nominate your business or another business that you believe deserves recognition.

Amidst the challenging circumstances faced by businesses today, encompassing economic and social strains, it is crucial, now more than ever, to acknowledge the accomplishments of the numerous diverse businesses thriving in Calderdale.

BfC is a non-profit organization and last year they donated the surplus from the Awards to the Community Foundation for Calderdale (CFFC). They donated nearly £8,000, which was utilised as grants to support the Healthy Holidays Calderdale initiatives. These programs offer much-needed free holiday opportunities to children who qualify for benefit-related free school meals. Once again, this year, they will be donating 100% of the surplus from the Awards to CFFC. They extend their gratitude to both past and present sponsors for their invaluable support, as without them, the awards, and the ceremony itself would not be possible.
