Partner Amanda Ambler shortlisted for Outstanding Business Leader of the Year

Our partner and head of real estate operations, Amanda Ambler, was shortlisted for Outstanding Business Leader of the Year at the British Conveyancing Awards.

The annual British Conveyancing Awards, which took place on 13 March in London, recognise the outstanding work of conveyancers across the UK.

Amanda, who has almost 20 years of experience in conveyancing, was a finalist in the Outstanding Business Leader of the Year category, in recognition of her dedication to legal excellence and her contribution to the success of Chadwick Lawrence’s Conveyancing department.

The award category honours exceptional leaders who inspire their teams, create a positive workplace culture, and deliver exceptional results. Leading a team of over 85 people at Chadwick Lawrence, consisting of managers, team leaders, fee earners, assistants, new business and post-completion team members, Amanda’s role here is wide-ranging.

Reflecting on her shortlisting, Amanda said: “To be recognised as a finalist at the British Conveyancing Awards is the most significant moment in my career to date. Although I may not have won, I am so grateful to have been shortlisted and am honoured to lead such an incredible, hardworking and supportive team at Chadwick Lawrence every day, who each contribute to our continued success.”

Amanda joined Chadwick Lawrence in 2020 as operational project manager in the conveyancing department. Since then, she has been promoted to Head of Real estate Operations and became a Partner of the firm in October 2024.
