Acclaim: Growth, Innovation, and a Market-Leading Future

Since its formation in 2019, Acclaim Credit Management and Recovery has stood out as a fast, efficient, and flexible solution for commercial debt recovery. From the very beginning, the team set ambitious standards and has continued to meet and exceed them.

Within its first year, Acclaim was named Debt Recovery Team of the Year at the Yorkshire Legal Awards 2020 and has been shortlisted every year since.

Under the leadership of Matt Perry, Acclaim has grown both in capability and size, driven by a commitment to providing excellent client service and commercial results.

A Step Forward in Client Service: A New Digital Gateway

In 2021, Acclaim launched “The Gateway,” a client portal powered by InCase, The Gateway – Acclaim, Part of Chadwick designed to provide greater visibility and ease of access to case updates and progress. While it served its purpose at the time, the rapid pace of technological change and rising client expectations meant that the platform needed to evolve.

Matt Perry, Head of Acclaim, took a bold and forward-thinking step by developing a new client portal from the ground up, utilising Natura Language Coding Tools. This bespoke

solution is now in the late stages of testing, with Lead Developer, Rob Flooks supporting on implementation. Once live, the platform promises to significantly enhance the client experience, offering intuitive design, real-time updates, and a more tailored service.

A Growing Team, A Growing Reputation

As part of its continued growth, Acclaim is delighted to welcome two new members to the team. Jordan Crowther joins as Senior Recoveries Executive and Bode Bakare steps into the role of Team Principal for Commercial Recoveries. Both bring significant experience and share the team’s current commitment to securing excellent client outcomes.

This expansion comes at an exciting time for Acclaim, following a major development in its relationship with Gallagher Business Solutions, a long-standing client for whom Acclaim has handled all reserved legal work, issuing proceedings and managing enforcement.

In July 2025, agreement was reached with Gallagher which would see Acclaim taking on the responsibility for pre legal work on behalf of the portfolio of Gallager clients. These clients now benefit from a complete end-to-end debt recovery service from Acclaim.

To support this transition and ensure continuity of service, Bode has joined the team directly from Gallagher to assist with the continuity of service.

As we enter the second half of the financial year, the momentum within the Acclaim team is stronger than ever. The combination of cutting-edge technology, expert team members and a growing client base puts us in a strong position for continued success.
