Asma Iqbal Receives ‘Highly Commended’ – Business Woman of the Year Award

Partner and News Department head, Asma Iqbal received the ‘Highly Commended’ – Business Woman of the Year Award at the Telegraph & Argus Bradford Means Business Awards 2015 last week.

The purpose of these awards is to identify women from all sectors who have made an exceptional influence to business in the Yorkshire region and award the outstanding accomplishments they have made to business.

Asma qualified in 1999 and has extensive experience in Insolvency having spent 7 years at a Commercial Law firm in Leeds before joining Chadwick Lawrence LLP as a Partner in 2008. She is also chair of the R3 Yorkshire Women in Business Recovery Group and a member of the R3 Regional Committee.

Asma commented “I want to pass on my congratulations to all the winners, and even though I was not successful on this occasion, I am delighted with the recognition from such an established and professional awards panel.
