CHADWICK LAWRENCE RECEIVE INNOVATION AND PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT AWARD AT THE 2019 CILEx AWARDS

Yorkshire’s Legal People, Chadwick Lawrence, were crowned winners of the Innovation and People Development Award at the CILEx National Awards Ceremony on 5th September 2019 at Madam Tussauds in London.

The firm was commended for its commitment to inspiring its employees personal and professional development, whilst also enhancing the standard of service delivery and improving business performance and client satisfaction.

Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, the Awards were the second CILEx National Awards and celebrated the exceptional talent, innovation and achievement of CILEx members, supporters and stakeholders.A main attribute to the award win was the launch of the Chadwick Lawrence Way (CL Way),. The CL Way recognises, rewards and supports the development of employees regardless of their position in the firm, from Trainee’s all the way up to the Managing Partner. It has become embedded in firms strategic plan and supports a variety of initiatives, each with the aim of benefiting its employees development and the businesses performance.

Some of the schemes focus on training employees and include; additional training for extra qualifications, internal lunch and learn sessions, mentoring and many more. As well as training, Chadwick Lawrence have introduced trailblazing initiatives to recognise, reward and support employee development, including; the Fee Earner Progression Scheme and the ‘Thanks Box’.
