In this Q&A, we’re finding out more about Jaine England, the Reception Manager for Chadwick Lawrence.

Describe your role at Chadwick Lawrence? 

I am the Reception manager at Chadwick Lawrence and I also deal with the telephone system and most enquiries to the firm.

What is your favourite part of your role at Chadwick Lawrence?

I love the variety the role brings, no day is ever the same! On a busy day I liken it to being an octopus, on a uni-cycle, juggling balls !

Tell us something most people would be surprised to learn about you?

I have a very eclectic taste in music, my Spotify playlist covers just about every genre. What people won’t be surprised about is my love of dogs, in particular, Springer Spaniels !

What’s been the most satisfying moment of your career so far?

There have been quite a few, but my most recent one was the implementation of a new telephone system, working closely with the IT team. It was set up across all nine offices and for the most part, we set this up remotely – which had it’s challenges!

What inspired you to work in the legal sector?  

Not inspired, as such, it was pure luck. I had worked at an engineering firm for 16 years and the role was made redundant so I took 5 months off.  But a telephonist role came up at Chadwick Lawrence and I’ve been here ever since!
