Skilled Solicitors help strengthen Chadwick Lawrence Team

The Family Law and Property departments of Chadwick Lawrence have recently been strengthened thanks to the addition of top legal duo Martin and Susan Vesely.

The pair joined the Chadwick Lawrence team in the summer, and are based at the Wakefield office.

Having been previously based at Hellewell Pasley & Brewer Solicitors, the pair have added years of experience to the Chadwick Lawrence team and bring a wealth of established clients to the firm. The pair have both worked across a number of legal areas, and this experience means they are able to provide support and advice on all legal matters as well as their own particular specialisms.

Martin’s specialities lie in Wills, Inheritance & Tax Advice, and Commercial Property matters, but he also holds a varied and deep general experience in all areas of law. Having started his legal career in 1968 as an Article Clerk, he developed knowledge across the board before beginning to specialise in Probate and Commercial Property. Many of Martin’s previous clients have followed him to Chadwick Lawrence, including both national and international clients.

Susan’s experience lies largely in Matrimonial legal matters and private child cases, boasting a highly successful track record. Starting her legal career in 1977, her successful track record is a testament to her approach to this sensitive area of law, where arguments can often be polarised and emotionally driven, causing difficulty for both clients and representatives. This success has gained her a respected reputation, and a loyal client base over the years.

Susan’s success also lies in the number of accreditations she has obtained over the years, including Specialist of Resolution, Assessor of the Law Society Family Panel, accredited Specialist of the Law Society Family Advanced Panel and a qualified Collaborative Lawyer. She has also managed a successful Family Mediation Service.
