Yorkshire’s Legal People Sponsor Wakefield Gala Dinner

Chadwick Lawrence, also known as Yorkshire’s Legal People, recently supported their local community by sponsoring the annual Theatre Royal Wakefield Gala Dinner and Variety Performance on Friday 9^th March.

Raising £30,000, this year’s gala event contributes further towards Theatre Royal Wakefield’s community work with young people in Wakefield and the surrounding areas. This year the auction played a very important part in the evenings success, which Chadwick Lawrence kindly donated two pairs of hospitality tickets for Castleford Tigers vs Wakefield Trinity and Leeds Rhinos vs Wakefield Trinity.

Representatives of Chadwick Lawrence joined a host of guests attending the Theatre to enjoy a sell-out variety performance. Performers at the event included the celebrated Wakefield Youth Music theatre productions and an extract from Thumbelina.

Other performances on the night included songs from singers Beth Rosamund, Ruby Macintosh and BBC One’s Let It Shine finalist Bradley Johnson, a performance from Crofton Silver Band and Tula Sparkles contortionist act.

The team at Chadwick Lawrence have acted as long term supporters of the Theatre and its community trust. The firm are passionate about their commitment to Wakefield and the thriving community within the city, and gladly support charitable causes and the performing arts.
